Wine and Jazz

We will have copies of Freedom Run available for purchase and signing at the WV Market at Snowshoe Resort during the Wine & Jazz festival this year. WV Market is also allowing us to display photos from the run, which will be available for purchase as well. Hope to see you there!

Uncork!  Our 14th annual Taste of The Mountain Food, Wine and Jazz Festival will encompass two days of celebrating the finer things in life. A New Orleans themed backdrop will blanket the weekend as we showcase decadent cuisine from the Village proprietors, savor exquisite wines from the region?s top vintners and enjoy the smooth sounds of jazz in the air. From Friday?s Dessert and Champagne Reception to Saturday?s Wine Seminars and Grand Tasting Event, your senses will be satisfied with the best food, wine and jazz of West Virginia.

Advance Tickets are just $20. The price will go up to $30 starting August 5th.

11am Wine Seminar ? White Wine 101 ? Greenbrier Room
Let us walk you  through White Wine 101. Enjoy all the qualities that make white wine delicious from ripe fruit flavors, Soaring perfume and crisp taste. We?ll taste a flight of wines from various regions and compare the different styles to broaden your knowledge and understanding of wine and wine culture.
1pm Wine Seminar – Red Wine 101 ? Greenbrier Room
Come and explore the basics of red wine production as we highlight the distinct flavors commonly noted in certain grapes from around the globe. We?ll taste a flight of wines from various regions to enhance your knowledge and understanding of wine and wine culture.
3pm – 7pm Grand Tasting Event with live entertainment ? Village Plaza
This featured event takes place in the heart of Snowshoe, as our Village is transformed into a New Orleans themed  backdrop. The options are endless as you taste the cuisine from some of the resort?s finest restaurants while savoring the perfect glass of wine, all to the delightful sounds of jazz

4:30pm – 5:30pm Musical entertainment featuring ?Shane Meade  and  The Sound?
